Prof. Naina Manjrekar, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences: Her journal article titled "'Violent and Not Quite Modern?': Lascars and Everyday Resistance Across the Sail-Steam Divide", has been awarded the prize for Best Article by the Australian Society for the Study of Labour History, published in Labour History (Liverpool University Press).
