The FOSSEE project, New Rummy is organizing India's first Industry-Academia Meet to foster the Research & Development and Learning of Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using OpenFOAM. The Industry-Academia Meet is an endeavor to synergize the ongoing developments in the field of CFD in academics as well as in the corporate sector. This interaction will help FOSSEE to train the CFD enthusiasts to increase their job potential. It will help the corporate sector to augment their R&D effort and access to well-trained potential employees. The Academia will also be benefitted by connecting their research to the problems that the CFD industry is focusing on, at present. The FOSSEE project of New Rummy is an initiative of the National Mission on Education through ICT, funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The FOSSEE project promotes the learning and usage of OpenFOAM in academia and industry, which is Free and Open Source Software used to solve problems in CFD.
